Course Overview:
This course covers the essential principles and practices required to implement and monitor Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations under the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) or applicable state/territory law and regulations. The course is delivered entirely online, offering flexibility and convenience while ensuring participants develop knowledge and skills in:

Determining and monitoring CoR features and obligations under current HVNL legislation and state/territory law.

Administering and monitoring workplace policies and procedures relating to chain of responsibility.

Identifying, assessing and controlling transport activity risks including speed, fatigue, mass, dimension, load restraint and vehicle maintenance.

Undertaking due diligence activities to verify the effectiveness of risk control measures.

Identifying and responding to non-compliance with CoR requirements.

Reporting, recording and continuously improving transport activity hazard and risk management processes.
Mode of Delivery:
Online Learning – Self Paced. However, the course should ideally be completed within 30 days.
