This course is designed for individuals working in the transport, logistics and warehousing industries who hold influence or control responsibilities over a business's transport activities and are required to implement and monitor their Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations under the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) or applicable state/territory law and regulations.​

Course Overview:

This course covers the essential principles and practices required to implement and monitor Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations under the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) or applicable state/territory law and regulations. The course is delivered entirely online, offering flexibility and convenience while ensuring participants develop knowledge and skills in:

• Determining and monitoring CoR features and obligations under current HVNL legislation and state/territory law.

• Administering and monitoring workplace policies and procedures relating to chain of responsibility.

• Identifying, assessing and controlling transport activity risks including speed, fatigue, mass, dimension, load restraint and vehicle maintenance.

• Undertaking due diligence activities to verify the effectiveness of risk control measures.

• Identifying and responding to non-compliance with CoR requirements.

• Reporting, recording and continuously improving transport activity hazard and risk management processes.
