-
Recognise and manage common workplace hazards in a mining context.
-
Understand and comply with Queensland mining health and safety laws.
-
Effectively respond to mining site emergency situations.
-
Operate safely in both surface and underground mining operations.

Individuals new to the mining industry who need to meet the safety training requirements to gain employment.
-
Existing workers requiring an induction refresher to maintain compliance with safety standards (completed every 2 years).
-
Contractors or service providers entering Queensland’s mining sector who need to understand and comply with mining safety regulations.
